A panel of high-profile judges shortlist and choose the winners of the Wellcome Photography Prize.
The 2021 prize, which is free to enter, is now open. Show us the human stories behind three urgent health challenges: mental health problems, infectious diseases and global heating.
The judges for the Wellcome Photography Prize 2021 are:
- Brett Rogers OBE, Director of The Photographers' Gallery
- Dr Dixon Chibanda, Associate Professor at the University of Zimbabwe Clinical Research Centre, and Director of the African Mental Health Research Initiative
- Dr John Nkengasong, Director of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention
- Dr Kateřina Šrahůlková, Psychologist and Mental Health Specialist with Médecins sans Frontières.
More judges will be announced soon.
The judging panel will be chaired by Jeremy Farrar, Director of Wellcome.
