Ekin Bolukbasi

Ekin completed her PhD in genetics at the University of Edinburgh, after which she focused on biogerontology as a Postdoctoral Fellow at University College London.

At Wellcome, she develops innovative funding mechanisms and programmes that link data, health and technology. She is responsible for designing the Mental Health Data Prize, which funds research at the intersection of data science and mental health.

Ekin is passionate about equitable use of health-related data and making a positive impact on health globally through science and technology.
