The type of report you fill in depends on what grant you have. If your grant isn't listed here, we'll contact you directly to let you know if you need to submit an end-of-grant report.

Your organisation will also need to complete a final expenditure report to receive the final payment on the grant.

What happens next?

In February or March we will write to you to request an end-of-grant report to be submitted through Researchfish. We will let you know the grants that need a report and the date by which this is required.

You can start compiling your report on Researchfish as soon as you receive your invitation email. However, you can only submit the report during the submission period.

If you miss the deadline, we won't accept any new grant applications from you until you submit your report.

Researchfish post-award reporting

We will ask you for an update of your Researchfish report, two and five years after you first submit it. You need to send us your update during the annual February to March submission period.

The update:

  • allows you to report any further research outputs from your grant
  • helps us to improve our data about the research we fund

If you do not send us an update, we will not accept any new grant applications from you until you submit your report.
